500mgA multicenter, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial with 80 healthy middle-aged adults found that NAD+ precursor supplementation significantly increased blood NAD+ concentrations at day 30 and day 60 compared to both placebo and baseline (p≤0.001). Biological age markers stayed unchanged in treated groups while increasing in the placebo group (p<0.05). Supplementation was safe and well-tolerated with no adverse effects reported.
