Ocemida Lifetime Limited Warranty

Official Policy Document

Revised July 2025

Ocemida 5000 PRO (Omni) Ocemida 6000 (Zeta) Ocemida 6000 PRO (Nexis)
Thank you for choosing Ocemida. This Lifetime Limited Warranty reflects our commitment to the quality and longevity of your device.

This warranty applies to the original purchaser only, is non-transferable, and is valid only for products purchased through Ocemida's official website or authorized retail partners. It provides the protections described below in addition to any rights available under applicable consumer protection laws.

1Warranty Duration

Your device is covered by the Ocemida Lifetime Limited Warranty for the lifetime of the product, defined as a maximum of five (5) years from the original purchase date.

During this period, Ocemida will repair or replace the product if a defect in materials or workmanship occurs under normal use and the claim is submitted within the warranty period.

The term "lifetime" refers to the supported life of the product model and does not exceed five (5) years from the purchase date. Warranty claims must be submitted while the original warranty period is still active. Defects reported after the warranty period has expired are not eligible for coverage, regardless of when the defect first appeared.

2What Is Covered

  • Manufacturing defects in the PEM/SPE electrolysis membrane or internal electronics.
  • Failure of the display or control interface during normal use.
  • Structural defects in the exterior enclosure not caused by impact, misuse, or cosmetic wear.
  • Charging port or internal electrical connection failures not caused by external damage.
Coverage Limit: Warranty coverage is limited to a maximum of one (1) repair or replacement per device during the warranty period. A replacement device is covered for the remainder of the original warranty term only and does not initiate a new warranty period.

3What Is Not Covered

  • Normal wear of rechargeable batteries, seals, and gaskets.
  • Charging cables and accessories.
  • Cosmetic damage, including scratches, dents, discoloration, or worn finishes that do not affect the functional performance of the device.
  • Damage caused by drops, impacts, crushing, or physical abuse.
  • Liquid damage to the electronic base (the base is water-resistant but not waterproof).
  • Damage caused by misuse, improper cleaning, or failure to follow maintenance instructions.
  • Scale buildup caused by repeated use of high-TDS water or failure to perform routine descaling.
  • Damage resulting from use of non-potable water, sparkling water, flavored beverages, or any liquid other than plain tap or filtered water.
  • Damage caused by freezing temperatures, extreme heat, or electrical surges.
  • Damage resulting from repair, modification, or disassembly by anyone other than an Ocemida-authorized technician.
  • Products used for commercial, rental, institutional, or non-personal purposes.
  • Products purchased from unauthorized resellers, third-party marketplaces, or through channels not officially authorized by Ocemida.

4Owner Responsibilities

  • Provide proof of purchase (original order confirmation or receipt) from an authorized Ocemida retailer.
  • Provide the registered serial number associated with the device. Products must be registered at ocemida.com/warranty-registration within 30 days of purchase to be eligible for warranty service.
  • Use the product according to the instructions in the user manual, including water type, cleaning, and storage guidelines.
  • Provide photos or video if requested to help diagnose the issue.
  • Not attempt to repair, modify, or disassemble the device, as doing so voids warranty coverage.

5Warranty Remedies

If a covered defect is confirmed, Ocemida will provide one of the following remedies, at Ocemida's sole discretion:

  • Repair of the device using new or refurbished parts.
  • Replacement with the same or an equivalent current model.
  • If repair or replacement is not reasonably available, a prorated store credit calculated as follows: the original purchase price multiplied by the percentage of the warranty period remaining at the time the claim is approved (e.g., a claim approved with 2 of 5 years remaining = 40% credit).
Ocemida reserves the right to determine the appropriate remedy based on the nature of the defect and product availability. Store credit is issued in the form of an Ocemida gift code and has no cash value.

6How to Make a Claim

Do not return the product to the retailer. Please contact Ocemida directly with the following information:

  • Your order number and serial number
  • Description of the issue
  • A short video or photo showing the defect

Shipping: For claims that require the device to be returned to Ocemida for inspection, Ocemida will cover inbound shipping costs for confirmed covered defects within Canada and the continental United States. Customers outside these regions are responsible for inbound shipping costs. If the claim is determined to be not covered under this warranty after inspection, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

7Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Ocemida's liability under this Warranty is limited to the remedies described above. Ocemida shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the product. In no event shall Ocemida's total liability under this warranty exceed the original purchase price paid by the original purchaser.

Nothing in this Warranty limits any consumer rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.

8Troubleshooting and Inspection

Before approving a repair, replacement, or credit under this Warranty, Ocemida may require reasonable troubleshooting steps to verify the reported issue.

These steps may include:

  • Providing additional photos or video showing the issue.
  • Performing basic diagnostic steps provided by our support team.
  • Returning the product to Ocemida for inspection when necessary.

If inspection determines that the issue is not covered under this Warranty, the product may be returned to the customer. Shipping costs for non-covered claims are the responsibility of the customer.

Devices that show evidence of significant mineral scaling, non-approved liquid use, improper water use, unauthorized modification, or lack of routine maintenance will be classified as normal wear or misuse rather than a manufacturing defect, and will not be eligible for warranty coverage.
