    How We Made a Better Hydrogen Water Bottle

    Most hydrogen water bottles on the market share the same fundamental design. They work, but they come with tradeoffs: difficult cleaning, membrane materials in contact with drinking water, and internal structures that degrade over time. We designed Ocemida to solve these problems.

    The Technology Inside

    Ocemida uses SPE/PEM electrolysis with platinum and iridium-coated titanium electrodes. This is the same core technology used in medical and laboratory-grade hydrogen generators - not a cost-reduced version of it.

    What makes Ocemida different is the engineering around that core. The electrolysis chamber features a conical cavity geometry that accelerates oxygen venting during the hydrogen generation cycle. Oxygen bubbles release faster and more completely, which does three things: maintains consistent hydrogen output, reduces stress on the membrane, and prevents the pressure fluctuations that cause leaking in other designs.

    The result: 7,700 PPM hydrogen concentration in just 10 minutes. You can also run shorter 5-minute cycles for a quick boost or extended 15-minute cycles for maximum saturation.

    Here's something most brands don't talk about: in conventional hydrogen bottle designs, the PEM membrane sits in direct contact with your drinking water.     There are no filters or parts to be replaced in a hydrogen water bottle.

    How long does the hydrogen concentration last in the bottle?

    The hydrogen concentration in an unopened bottle can remain stable for up to 24 hours. However, once the bottle is opened and the pressure is released, the hydrogen content begins to decrease. The rate of decline is approximately 500 parts per billion (PPB) per hour.

    What kind of USB charger can be used?

    Most of our devices include a USB charger and cable. If your package doesn't contain one, please use only a standard slow charger, as speed chargers aren't supported and may damage your device.
