Initial membrane activation
The PEM membrane ships moist and should remain moist. Keep the plug for travel or long storage.

Do not turn on the device during vinegar or cleaning solution soaking.
Daily operation
Operate safely
- Fill with purified water to the max line or lower.
- Close the cap and confirm the water does not cover the inside cap hole.
- Press the power button once for a 5-minute cycle. Press again to switch to 10 minutes.
- For a 15-minute result, run 10 minutes, open the cap to release pressure, then run 5 minutes.

Regular maintenance
Keep the generator clean without damaging the membrane
Soap or harsh cleaning agents can damage the membrane. Use pure water or vinegar on the membrane, and use a cotton swab or pad only for the threads.
Maintenance schedule
Rinse all parts with warm water after use.
Use white vinegar or Ocemida cleaning solution. Do not turn on the device during soaking.
Tap the cap on a towel with holes facing down to remove trapped water.
Use the membrane plug to help keep the membrane moist and protected.
Remove the membrane plug. Add about 100 ml, or 3 oz, of cleaning solution or white distilled vinegar. Let it sit for 30 minutes, then rinse with warm water.

Water level and pressure valve
The water should not cover the small hole inside the cap because this is where the pressure release valve is located. Fill below the max line, about 280 ml or 1.2 cups. After washing the cap, tap it on a towel with the holes facing down to remove trapped water.
