Warranty Ocemida 5000 PRO

Thank you for purchasing the Ocemida 5000 Pro ("Device"). This Limited Warranty ("Warranty") is provided by Ocemida Technologies LLC ("Ocemida," "we," or "us") to you, the original purchaser ("Owner," "you," or "your"). This Warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have additional rights which vary from state to state.

2. Warranty Coverage

2.1 Duration

This Warranty is valid for five (5) years from the date of original purchase.

2.2 What's Covered

This Warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship in your Ocemida 5000 Pro under normal use and maintenance. Specifically, it covers:

  1. Factory defects in internal or external components
  2. Material physical flaws in the device's exterior enclosure (e.g., cracks, splits)
  3. Delamination of glued surfaces
  4. Broken or defective screens or displays

2.3 What's Not Covered

This Warranty does not cover:

  1. Batteries, cables and electronics are covered for 1 year.
  2. Accessories, plumbing fixtures, fittings, tubing, filters, or other attachments
  3. Damage from improper use, accidents, or negligence
  4. Normal wear and tear
  5. Cosmetic damage that doesn't affect functionality
  6. Damage from exposure to extreme conditions (e.g., sunlight, harsh chemicals, freezing temperatures)
  7. Water damage or damage from submersion
  8. Insect or animal-related damage
  9. Damage from improper ventilation or overheating
  10. Performance deterioration due to lack of proper maintenance
  11. Damage from power surges (device must be used with a surge protector)

3. Your Responsibilities

To maintain this Warranty, you must:

  1. Purchase the Ocemida 5000 Pro from an authorized dealer
  2. Register your product at www.ocemida.com within 30 days of purchase
  3. Provide proof of purchase upon warranty claim
  4. Use the device as intended and perform regular maintenance
  5. Use the device with filtered or bottled drinking water compliant with US EPA regulations

4. Warranty Solutions

If your Device is found to be defective within the Warranty period, Ocemida will, at its discretion:

  1. Repair the Device
  2. Replace the Device with a new or refurbished unit
  3. Provide a prorated credit towards a new Ocemida product

4.2 Repair Cost Schedule

If Ocemida chooses to repair your Device, the following prorated costs will apply:

Base labor rate: $125 per hour plus parts and shipping.

5. How to Obtain Warranty Service

To obtain warranty service:

  1. Contact Ocemida directly at support@ocemida.com
  2. Do not return the Device to the retailer or dealer where purchased
  3. Provide your proof of purchase and product registration information

You are responsible for all shipping and handling costs associated with warranty service.

6. Limitation of Liability

EXCEPT AS PROVIDED IN THIS WARRANTY AND TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OCEMIDA IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR DIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM ANY BREACH OF WARRANTY OR CONDITION, OR UNDER ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY.

7. Governing Law

This Warranty is governed by the laws of the state in which the Ocemida 5000 Pro was purchased, without regard to conflicts of law principles.

By using your Ocemida 5000 Pro, you agree to the terms of this Warranty. If you do not agree, please return the Device to your place of purchase within 30 days for a full refund.
